Typical closing costs include title fees, taxes (transfer + property), lender costs, and realtor commission fees. When you work with us you fully eliminate realtor commissions.

Q

A

We get paid out of the title fees that you are already required to pay at closing. So you get expert help and guidance throughout the home buying process, without adding an extra layer of cost. If you think that makes us the no-brainer option, you’re right.

Are there any legal considerations I should keep in mind when buying a home?

Q

A

There are new NAR commission rules you should be aware of.

Under the 2024 NAR commission changes, buyers are now responsible for paying their agent's fees (not sellers!) This means if you’re purchasing a home, you can expect to pay an additional 2-3% which adds up extremely quickly.

Res/Direct eliminates this burden by offering a no-realtor solution, saving you thousands of dollars while still providing expert guidance.

So how exactly are you saving me thousands on my home purchase?

Q

A

With the new NAR commission rules (see question above) buyers are required to pay real estate agent commission fees, not sellers.

So if you were to buy a home for $400k, you can expect to pay 3% to your buyer’s agent. This is an additional $12k just for out of pocket costs.

Most people don’t have an extra 12 grand, so coming up with this money would likely mean taking it away from their down-payment, which can put their loan, and therefore their ability to buy the home, at risk.

If I can do this all on my own, why should I work with you instead?

Q

A

Buying a home involves several steps and isn’t always straightforward.

If your car broke down you could fix it yourself, but isn’t it so much easier to take it to a mechanic who has expertise and specialized knowledge?

You turn to the pros with the know-how and experience to guide you, and buying a home is no different.

Let’s get you that dream home, shall we?
